→   Pullman are a chain of hotels with a long-standing history, starting with Pullman trains way back when. They're really proud of who that are and where they've come from, but wanted to updated their online presence to fit with thier evolving hotels.

New brand and site

→   Before their new website and digital look & feel, they had a brand refresh, which included a new typeface and colour palette, but pretty much left everything else to us. This provided a great starting point without holding us down. After an exciting visual workshop, we managed to lock down what they wanted for the site, which allowed us to get the concept over the line with only one concept and one round.

It's all in the detail

→   Motion plays a big role in this project, helping lift the brand, guide and engage users, and help tell the brand story. One of the brand elements that comes through subtly, every now and then, is the Pullman Portal. We use this for special moments, pulling users further into the world of Pullman. It is used minimally and sparingly to bring more emphasis to it.

Emersed in Pullman

→   A big focus for Pullman was the culture that it creates and surrounds, which meant for richer, more engaging storytelling through the language and photography. Due to this, we were able to go heavy with the full-bleed imagery, making the experice even more immersive.

Full design ecosytem

→   To wrap up the project, we were tasked with the job of putting together a design system that the client can take and run with. This had its constraints and challenges, but ensures the development to be pixel perfect and the live site to run exactly as intended. It also means that we can make sure the design library works in all variations and combinations, giving it that last little brush with the-fine tooth comb.
